For long-term, cost effective maintenance, only silicone coatings provide a
virtually maintenance-free system to prevent excessive leakage current,
tracking, and flashover. Silicone is not affected by ultraviolet light,
temperature, or corrosion. Our Siltech 100HV high voltage insulator coating
product presents a smooth finish with
superior tracking resistance. Because the coating is highly water-repellent,
contaminants cannot film out over the surface.
Siltech Silicone Coatings can eliminate or reduce:
- Regular insulator cleaning.
- Periodic re-application of greases.
- Replacement of components damaged by flashover.
Our silicone coatings have proven effective in all types of conditions, from
salt-fog to fly ash. They are also useful to restore burned, cracked, or chipped
insulators. May be used on precipitators up to 500°F. Our Technical Services group utilizes state-of-the-art coating technology with proven
process controls to assure minimal material loss and fast service. We offer
