Founded in 1994, Silchem™ Marketing has
been providing the electrical industry with high quality silicone products.
The company focused initially on electric utility applications providing
products for use in the installation of underground power cable accessories and connectors
used to deliver power to residential subdivisions and commercial office
buildings and shopping malls.
Continuing our focus on the
electrical industry we introduced coating
products and services for specific utility applications in electrical
substations worldwide. These products help to reduce the loss of power and
outage time utilities face due to system flashovers. These products have
been successfully used within the USA as well as internationally in applications
up to 500kV.
Our resources include
personnel with highly technical backgrounds and certifications with hands on
experiences in a diverse range of markets including electric utility T&D
systems, large industrials utilizing high voltage power systems, water and
pipeline systems and corrosion protection, wind farms and electric
generating power plants. We participate in and support industry
organizations including IEEE Power & Engineering Society (PES), Insulated
Conductors Committee (ICC), Dielectric Insulating Systems (DEIS), Industry
Applications Society (IAS), Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) and NACE
International.
Today, in addition to our continued focus
on the electrical, industrial and pipeline markets, we are now providing silicone based products
and services for use
in Military, Automotive, Communication, Marine and Consumer household
applications.
Silchem™ Marketing is a registered WBE
business and has been certified by the California Public Utility Commission
(CPUC). The company is also registered with the Federal Government via the
Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and has pending DBE status with the Small
